Mr. Noah T. Leask (Nee-gon-ee-me-gwun-ahbay [Leading Eagle Feather]) is a Service Disabled Veteran with over ten years of wartime service in the U.S. Navy conducting global operations supporting National Defense where he played a critical role in providing the Nation and the U.S. Navy with Cyber, Information, Signals, and Information Technology Dominance as a deployed member of the U.S. Naval Security Group Command afloat and ashore. Mr. Leask has a wealth of experience successfully starting, managing, and growing businesses having been recognized as a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 2013 National Small Business Award Winner, the 2013 South Carolina Small Business Person of the Year, honored in the 2013 Annual CEO World Awards as CEO of the Year, a two-time Top 10 American Indian Entrepreneur by Inc. Magazine (#1 in South Carolina 2011-2012), as National Leader in job creation, as the SBA 2009 Veteran Small Business Champion of the Year for South Carolina and Southeast Region, Region IV, for the work he is doing in support of veterans, wounded warriors, and veteran-owned businesses nationwide. He is directly responsible for ISHPI’s vision, strategy, and financial strength, as well as providing leadership, day-to-day management and governing client and vendor relations and strategic partnerships. Mr. Leask is a Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce 2013 Leadership Charleston graduate. He was selected to serve as the 2012 President of the AICCSC, currently serving as Executive Vice President, and served on the Charleston Defense Contractors Association (CDCA) Board of Directors from 2009-2012. He is a member of the U.S. Naval Cryptologic Veterans Association (NCVA), Association of Old Crows (AOC), Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Advanced Security Technology Research Alliance (ASTRA), and Lowcountry CYBER Security Campaign where he is actively working with other businesses on developing a Cyber Security Center of Excellence to help provide employment opportunities in the Charleston, SC area. He is also a member of the Board of Advisors for EPCI College of Technology where he focuses on the high tech educational requirements for veterans and students in the global marketplace. He possesses a Bachelors of Science degree in Information Systems from Strayer University, Washington, D.C., graduating Summa Cum Laude, and is attending the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business to earn his MBA.
Mr. Leask is an American Indian from The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Migizi-doodem (Eagle Clan) and is originally from Cheboygan, Michigan. Now residing in the Charleston, SC area, he is very active in his community, serving as the Chairman of the Board for Tri-County Autism Puzzle Place Academy (TCAPPA), as a member of the Board of Directors for Special Olympics South Carolina (SOSC), as a member of the College of Charleston Realizing Educational and Career Hopes (REACH) Program Advisory Board, as a member of the Bishop England High School Options Program Parent Advisory Team, and as a member of the Lowcountry Special Olympics and Unified Athletics Committees. He recently served as the Chairman of the Board for Rein and Shine, an equine assisted therapy facility serving people with disabilities from 2010-2011. He is also the Town of Mt. Pleasant Unified and Special Olympics coach for several sports. He was awarded the 2008 Volunteer Coach of the Year and 2007 South Carolina Parent of The Year by the South Carolina Recreation and Parks Association for his work with Unified Athletics and the Special Olympics.
Co-Founder | Vice President | Chief Compliance Officer
Lisa Leask, Co-Founder, Vice President, and Chief Compliance Officer of ISHPI, is a former U.S. Naval Officer and brings over twenty years of administrative management experience supporting clients in the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. She has held the positions of Executive Officer, Human Resources Manager, Command Administrative Officer, and Office Manager. As Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, she is responsible for ISHPI’s offices and Human Resources activities as well as leading and managing ISHPI’s critical employee outreach and welfare initiative, the ICARE Program.
While on active duty, Ms. Leask was assigned to U.S. Naval Security Group Activity (NSGA), Naples, Italy, as the Joint Operations Communications Lead with the responsibility of supporting the National Security Agency and Global Intelligence Operations. She had a direct impact on operations in the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM), Commander in Chief, U.S. Naval Forces, Europe (CINCUSNAVEUR), and Commander 6th Fleet (COMSIXTHFLT) Areas of Responsibilities (AORs), working NATO Joint Forces communications to include support to Bosnia, Herzegovina and Somalia. Following her military career, Ms. Leask held the positions of Executive Assistant and Human Resources Assistant at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) providing support to several Senior Corporate Vice Presidents, and as Human Resources Manager at a Small Defense contractor out of Arlington, Virginia, a position in which she gained several years of valuable experience managing a small business.
Ms. Leask is very active in her community. She was recognized as a Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina Women of Distinction honoree for Business in 2010 and was the 2009 Volunteer of the Year for the Town of Mount Pleasant Recreation Department. She sits on advisory boards for several community organizations, including the Bishop England High School Options Program Parent Advisory Team, the College of Charleston REACH (Realizing Educational And Career Hopes) Program, Tri-County Autism Puzzle Place Academy (TCAPPA), and the Town of Mount Pleasant Therapeutic Recreation Department Social Committee. She is an active Special Olympics volunteer, assisting the Special Needs community throughout the state of South Carolina. Additionally, she is a founding Executive Committee Board of Director having served as the first Treasurer for the newly established Women in Defense (WID), Palmetto Chapter in Charleston, South Carolina. She currently serves as Treasurer for Laurel Hill Primary School PTAMs. Leask earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina in 1991.
EARL D. BOWERS
President | Chief Strategy Officer
Earl D. Bowers, ISHPI’s President and Chief Strategy Officer, brings over 30 years of business management experience to ISHPI and is responsible for the execution of the company’s strategic plan as it relates to growth and business development. Working closely with the Board of Directors, Operations, Human Resources, and Finance, he directs and facilitates a companywide approach to business capture planning and execution designed to focus business development efforts on contracts that are consistent with ISHPI’s corporate strategy and opportunities that expand ISHPI’s core capabilities.
Prior to joining ISHPI, Mr. Bowers served in a variety of high profile Executive Management positions with some of the premier contractors in the Defense Industry, including Director of Business Development for Truestone, LLC, Vice President of Corporate Development for Dataline, General Manager and Managing Partner of pTerex, LLC, Director of Marketing and Sales at PROSOFT, and General Manager of the Mid-Atlantic Division of MILCOM Systems Corporation. Following a distinguished 20 year career in the US Navy and prior to his move to Executive Management, Mr. Bowers held Program Management positions with CACI, Sabre Systems and FCBS, primarily directing large custom software development programs for the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard.
Mr. Bowers earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Management and his Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) in Computer Information Systems from Texas A&M, graduating as the top student in both programs.
Vice President | Chief Operating Officer
Michael Beadle, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with ISHPI, oversees Operations as well as supporting ISHPI’s Business Development. He is responsible for the lifecycle managment of the programs that span the sum of ISHPI’s core competencies. In his role as recruiting and staffing lead he is responsible for building and maintaining a customized solution for candidate identification and processing and sustaining relationships for furture growth. In his role as the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure manager, he has primary responsibility to ensure the accessbility and reliability of key corporate assets from laptops to SharePoint.
In recent years, Mr. Beadle has served in various roles with large systems integrators in the C5ISR arena providing companies with PMO and Portfolio Organizational Systems, Enterprise-Level Technical Planning, and Earned Value Management (EVM) leadership and development. During his successful 13-year career, he has developed and implemented strategic business and operations plans leading to substantial growth in revenue and profit. Furthermore, he excelled in creating both the structure and teams necessary to guide his current and past programs and companies through the turbulence and uncertainty that accompanies growth. Mr. Beadle has a long successful history in designing and implementing the changes necessary to create successful transitions to scalable Earned Value Management (EVM) Enterprise-Level Systems that are cost effective and customizable to the needs of specific client both large and small.
Mr. Beadle is a distinguished graduate of Indiana Institute of Technology in Ft. Wayne, Indiana with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). He received his Masters of Science, in Systems Engineering (MSSE) with a certificate of Technical Project Management from Johns Hopkins University while participating in Lockheed Martin’s Engineering Leadership Development Program. He is a practiced executioner of 6-sigma as a Greenbelt, and has been an active member of the Washington D.C. Chapter of the Program Management Institute since 2005.
Vice President | Chief Administrative Officer
Claire Murchison, Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, has well over a decade of experience at the corporate, administrative, and managemnet level. Ms. Murchison earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2000 and a Master of Human Resources degree in 2004, both from the University of South Carolina. In her role, Ms. Murchison provides companywide hiring support, conducts new employee indoctrinations, manages all employee benefit plans, plays a key role in the development and administration of HR policies and procedures, and oversees operations and personnel at ISHPI’s headquarters in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
