Noah T. Leask, Co-Founder, President, and CEO of ISHPI Information Technologies, Inc., (DBA ISHPI) was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Charleston Defense Contractors Association (CDCA). Established in 2002, CDCA addresses issues and opportunities facing the Charleston, South Carolina defense community. It actively functions as an advocacy group for the defense industry in the Charleston metro area and other surrounding regions. It provides liaison with local, state, and federal governmental agencies, elected officials, legislatures, and special groups and committees, taking actions to develop or improve the local defense community’s ability to develop, attract, retain, and more effectively execute business opportunities. Finally, and very importantly, it fosters an increased and improved interaction between defense contractors for accomplishment of providing better services to defense customers. Mr. Leask and ISHPI have been CDCA members for the past three years and are excited about this opportunity and increased commitment to make CDCA and its business and community programs a success!

Women in Defense (WID)
Lisa Leask, Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of ISHPI, and Jennifer Combs, ISHPI, are founding members of the first Women in Defense (WID) Palmetto Chapter in Charleston, SC. Jennifer is serving as Secretary of the first WID Palmetto Chapter Executive Board and Lisa Leask is an active member, participating in the many business and community programs the Chapter sponsors. WID, A National Security Organization and affiliate of the National Defense Industrial Association, cultivates and supports the advancement and recognition of women in all aspects of national security. A non-profit organization, WID provides women working in defense a formal environment for professional growth through networking, education, and career development. The local chapter of WID is the Palmetto Chapter, established Spring 2009. ISHPI is a predominant supporter of the local chapter. Jennifer, Lisa, and ISHPI are committed to making the first WID chapter in the Charleston Area a success!
